<p>A permit is required for the scattering of ashes from cremated human remains in the following areas, and/or according to the following terms and conditions:</p>
<ul>
<li>Pecan Grove/Big Woods (25 yards away from of any trail)</li>
<li>Marsh Overlook Platform/Kenta Canal spoilbank (25 yards away from overlook platform)</li>
<li>The scattering of human ashes from cremation is permitted only in the two areas and only in such a quantity so as to not interfere with visitor use and proper sanitation.</li>
</ul>
<p>Discussion: Memorialization in the specified locations and conditions only, is necessary for the protection of natural resources, the implementation of management responsibilities and to avoid a conflict among visitor use activities.</p>
